Nicki Broeking, Psy.D.

FOUNDER/ LEAD Psychologist

Dr. Broeking is a licensed clinical psychologist based in Marina del Rey, CA with offices throughout Los Angeles. She earned both her Psy.D. and M.A. in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University and has worked in a variety of clinical settings including outpatient, residential and inpatient care. She has been in private practice since 2008 and psychological assessment has become the work she finds most meaningful.

Dr. Broeking's focus is on adoelescents and adults navigating questions about attention-deficicit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), personality and the way life experience shapes how one thinks, feels, and functions. She believes a good evaluation should do more than produce a report - it should be an experience that leaves individuals with genuine clarity about themselves.

Dr. Broeking's path into assessment started with the Rorschach, one of the most complex and nuanced instruments in the field of psychology. What began as a steep learning curve for her became a deep area of specialization - shaped by advanced training, scholarships to intensive workshops, and a doctoral dissertation exploring the Rorschach in the context of childhood trauma. Along the way, the conversations and mentorship she found in that community reminded Dr. Broeking that the best work happens collaboratively.

Dr. Broeking is a member of Therapeutic Assessment, the International Society of Rorschach and Projective Methods, and the Society of Personality Assessment.
